Go to the window
Earth’s curve waits for you
under wild skies
Run through the door
spin, sway, swing and play
Hinge
the circle
spill outside
boundaries fall before your feet
Breathe in heaven
swim with stars
Reach out
palms up in supplication
arms open
Writtien for dVerse Poets Pub, where Victoria asked us to write a Quadrille (44 words, exactly) about some aspect of the word, “open.”
Nice post.

Gorgeous poem. I love so much in this. I’d copy and paste the whole quadrille if I printed what I liked in this poem. Excellent advice.

You convey such a sense of delight in the beauty of nature. These lines especially spoke to me:

under wild skies

Love the sway, the rhythm and liberating feeling that flows from start to finish…and oh, to “swim with stars”…*sigh*

It will help to invoke help from God the alMighty in many instances if only one is to ask for it. It will work for the believers!

I love the idea of viewing earth’s curve from a window: such a wide view from so narrow a space.

The thought of “breath[ing] in heaven” and “swimm[ing] with stars” is just magnificent. I picture a body full of starlight and glee, floating from galaxy to galaxy, experiencing everything.
