I am made
entirely of want. I
ache with it
but without it
there is nothing –
a pile of sand
a length of rope
empty shoes left
at the door
an equation without a
solution
This want chews
like a termite.
It both defines and
devours me
The good thing about NaPWriMo is it gets us writing. The problem with NaPoWriMo is we don’t have time to consider, to polish and fiddle. I feel like this needs more fiddling and considering. And a couple coats of polish. 😉
I’m not being so diligent about NaPoWriMo this year as I have been in (some)past years. Everything I write online for NaPo gets taken down almost immediately on 1st of May and put into the Works-In-Progress file (which is always every writer’s most overstuffed file). Lots of my April NaPo drafts have ultimately been refined, edited, and (YAY!) published.
Hang in there!

Thanks Ron. That’s a good suggestion; I never really thought about taking them down after April. I do go back and fuss over some of them, but I think taking the rough ones down is a good idea.

I really like the idea of taking down the posts at the end of the month. Good suggestion, Ron. And thanks for the encouragement. I hope April is going well for you.
