Yesterday it was so warm
I went outside with
no coat, no gloves, no scarf.
I felt the sun on my face
and breathed in
moisture-laden air
with the subtle smell of spring.
I pushed my fingers
into the warm earth.
It’s been a long, long winter.

This Sunday morning
millions of miracles
appear outside my door.
Resurrection everywhere.
I had 29 people over for Easter dinner, so I’m playing catch up. That’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it. I hope you had a wonderful Easter or Passover or whatever you celebrate. And if you don’t celebrate anything I hope you had a wonderful day.
