Love the light, the patterns, the combination of vertical and horizontal lines and that one diagonal smack in the middle, grounding all the other lines! Great movement.
Nice – I grew up on an old farm in the middle of crop country – Illinois. We had a few old barns like this and I remember playing in the Hay Loft just about every day when I was a kid. Surprising we didn’t fall and break our necks. Such a shame to see our old barns deteriorating and falling into heaps of lumber. Thanks for the photo and for taking me back to a very fond memory. Great photo!
Thanks Jai. There is something wonderful about hay barns. I’m glad this brought back some happy memories for you. Were there any round barns around you? I don’t know of any round ones, but there was an eight-sided barn where I grew up in SE Wisconsin.
Love this. The light streaming through is beautiful.
